Can I use ProKegel if I don't have any pelvic floor issues?
A strong and healthy pelvic floor is a part of your overall health and wellness. You can absolutely use the ProKegel device even if you do not have any pelvic floor issues.
Can ProKegel help relax the pelvic floor muscles?
Your ability to relax your pelvic floor is as important as your ability to contract it. ProKegel helps you train your pelvic floor by integrating contraction and relaxation phases into each game.
However, if your pelvic floor needs are focused mostly on relaxation (people with overactive pelvic floor or muscle spasms for example), we do not recommend the ProKegel device. We advise reaching out to a specialist to get advise on relaxation-focused techniques.
Can I use ProKegel if I have an implanted device?
YES.ProKegel communicates with your device using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). BLE waves are 1000 times less powerful than those emitted by a regular 4G smartphone. As of today, BLE is even used in pacemakers and other implanted devices.
However, as a precaution, we recommend asking your specialist for confirmation.
What material is ProKegel made of?
ProKegel is made of medical grade silicone. It is BPA free, Phthalates free and EA free.
How do I insert ProKegel and in which position do I lie?
Perifit: If you are a new user, we recommend that you train either reclined or lying down in a comfortable position with your knees bent and legs slightly apart. To learn more about how to insert the Perifit and in which position you should play, please clickhere.
ProKegel: The shape and size of ProKegel facilitate training in a variety of positions, including sitting or standing. You may need to experiment to find the best position for you.
How long and how often do you use it?
Frequency and duration of use depends on each individual. A recommendation is to start by playing 3 to 5 ten-minute sessions per week. Do not exceed this time.
How long does the battery last?
The battery lasts for about 6, 20-minute sessions. It then takes about four hours to fully recharge, but a quick charge is sufficient for one session.
How to Use
For first use, wash with mild water and soap to maintain hygiene. You can also use it with condoms and lubricants to minimize discomfort.
